Lead Cashier – Full-Time (N. Seattle)

We are seeking an experienced candidate that takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where the merchandise is constantly changing and there’s never a dull moment! A candidate with experience working at Goodwill, Salvation Army, Value Village or other large thrift store environment are the candidates we want to apply. By providing fast and friendly customer service at our thrift store on Aurora Avenue, you can be a vital part of our mission of service to our local community.

As a Lead Cashier, you must have experience with proper cash handling procedures, a proven record of excellent customer service, and the ability to work with diverse populations. You would be responsible for training new and existing staff on cashiering procedures, assessing performance of cashier staff with store manager. Other duties include organizing clothing racks, restocking shelves, maintaining dressing rooms, and assisting in the production/donations area as needed.

Minimum of one year cashiering experience (or other retail position involving customer service) is required. Full-time (32-40 hours), an hourly wage based on experience, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement for those who demonstrate exceptional skills. Donation Attendant – Part-Time (Renton)

St. Vincent de Paul is looking for applicants to work as a Donation Attendant at our Rainier Avenue store. We are seeking a person who has experience working with donations, that takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where the merchandise is constantly changing and there’s never a dull moment! A candidate with experience working at Goodwill, Salvation Army, Value Village or other large thrift store environment are the candidates we want to apply.

This position involves various tasks associated with incoming donation production: unloading cars/trucks, moving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donations for the sales floor. The ideal candidate is familiar with a warehouse environment, can lift and move heavy objects, is good at organization, and prides themselves at delivering excellent customer service. Part Time (24 – 28 hours per week), an hourly wage based on experience and opportunities for advancement for those who demonstrate exceptional skills. Other duties include organizing clothing racks, restocking shelves, maintaining dressing rooms, and assisting in the production/donations area as needed. Minimum of one year cashiering experience is required. Part-time (24 to 28 hours), an hourly wage based on experience, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement for those who demonstrate exceptional skills.
