Helping a Vet Heal
Harry is a disabled veteran, who was in the VA hospital, following a relapse that nearly killed him. He has no money at all and is at risk of losing his apartment, which is the one safety net he has left. SVdP covered the balance due to prevent him from losing his apartment, so he would have a place to come home to and save his belongings as well. He would have lost everything he owned if this balance was not paid.
