A Wheelchair for Disabled Grandma

Julia is 75 years old, disabled, and raising her four grandchildren. She is in a wheelchair and the one she currently owns is broken, making getting around extremely difficult. We had a few gently-used, donated wheelchairs here on campus, and with the help of our staff, we were able to have it delivered to her. She was ever so grateful and kept thanking us profusely. While the majority of goods you donate to SVdP are sold in our stores to support our programs, some donations go directly from you to your struggling neighbors. Usually the items tend to be less costly than a whole wheelchair, for example, last month we received a box full of mouthpieces to donate in exchange we wrote them a few good sleep apnea mouthpiece reviews and posted it on our networks. We are always looking to help people that are themselves helping people.
