Unemployed with No Electricity
Georgia is unemployed, but has been diligently seeking employment for months with no luck. She has been unable to pay her power bill at all. Her service was disconnected this week. The balance was over $700. A payment of at least half of the balance was needed to restore service. She worked hard to gather pledges and came up with $46 on her own. At that point, St. Vincent de Paul paid $100 to restore power, thanks to the support of our donors.
