Thank You Sur La Table Volunteers!

On November 6th, we were grateful for our wonderful neighbors from Sur La Table. They are generous, creative and skilled chefs as well! They served 75 guests at our Georgetown Food Bank FACES program. FACES stands for food, assistance, compassion and emergency services. Last year they served close to 100 people with a wonderful Italian lunch. And this time it was homemade chili, cornbread, with cheese and chili toppings and fresh fruit. And that is not all. They have four more lunches planned between now and the end of the first quarter. St. Vincent de Paul is so fortunate to have such compassionate neighbors!
