St. Vincent de Paul and KidVantage Partnership: Providing Essentials for Children
After 32 years Eastside Baby Corner (EBC), is proud to announce their new name, KidVantage.
While their mission remains the same “helping kids reach their full potential tomorrow by meeting their basic needs today,” KidVantage, formerly known as Eastside Baby Corner, is still dedicated to providing essentials for children, while building a strong foundation to help prepare kids and their families for the future.
St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle | King County (SVdP) over the years has partnered with KidVantage to help lessen the stress on neighbors who need assistance with critical care goods for children - infant through 12 years old.
Through the SVdP DeColores program, our Emergency Assistance program, and our various SVdP parishes, both Vincentian volunteers and SVdP employees have worked to satisfy the continuous need in the community.
Since 2019, St. Vincent de Paul has partnered with KidVantage distributing a total of $281,100.86 worth of essential baby care items to families throughout Seattle and King County.
From January 2023 - June 2023, SVdP has supplied about $73,050.50 worth of goods, helping over 257 families, and fulfilling over 1,954 orders.
To receive assistance, families must make a request through the KidVantage ordering system, or by calling the SVdP Helpline. Once the request is processed and assessed, an order is placed and packaged.
An order can consist of a single item or many. Families have the option to request numerous items such as baby hair & body wash, bibs, blankets, bottles, infant clothing, diaper cream, nursing pads, pacifiers and more.
Since the start of 2023, SVdP has handed out more than 56,289 items to families who need it most - but our mission work is not over.
As the continuous need increases, your support plays a critical role in helping supply these orders to families and neighbors. To learn more about how you can support, please visit the link below:
