Sixth Seattle Stand Down Dec 1 & 2!

Vet Backs to Camera 10-29-15We are proud to help provide outreach support for the Seattle Stand Down.

This Thursday and Friday, Dec. 1 and 2, is a special event for America’s veterans living in Seattle who need help in adjusting to civilian life. The event is hosted at South Seattle College at the Gene Colin Education Hall, Building C at 6737 Corson Ave. South. Veterans were not alone in their time of service and should not have to be alone now. The Seattle Stand Down is committed to assisting military veterans and their families in every aspect of their transition from military to civilian life; whether they just became a veteran or have been one for a long time.

The Seattle Stand Down provides a place where veterans can have “one stop” access to various community and Veterans Affairs (federal, state and county) social services, focusing primarily on those veterans and families that are either homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
