Renton Store Burglarized! Please Help!
Officials at St. Vincent de Paul say their Renton Thrift Store was burglarized early Wednesday morning, resulting in thousands of dollars in losses including computers, televisions and property damage to the store. Renton police and King County Forensic investigators are on the scene and are continuing their investigation.
“This is a devastating blow to us. In addition to the valuable donations that were stolen, our new Centro Rendu classroom that serves the Latino community was vandalized and all of the laptop computers were stolen. We lost thousands of dollars in valuable merchandise that is very difficult to replace. We want to reach out to the Renton community and the surrounding neighborhoods to ask for help. We really need donations of money and merchandise to help recover from this,” noted Steve Knipp, Deputy Director of St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle King County.
