Meet Nathan
Nathan is our Food Bank Operations Coordinator at SVdP. He started working here two years ago as the Food Bank Operations Assistant until he was promoted to Coordinator. He prides himself on his work ethic – “No pain, no gain!”
Before he came to Seattle and St. Vincent de Paul, Nathan was a production potter in Whitefish Montana, where he learned the craft of throwing pots, making somewhere between 200 to 350 pots a day! He moved to Seattle to further pursue pottery, where he met an employee from SVdP who encouraged him to join the organization.
Nathan brought his strong work ethic, organizational, and handyman skills to St. Vincent de Paul and has worked together with his co-workers and volunteers to continually improve the Fourth Avenue Georgetown Food Bank. Away from work, Nathan enjoys playing basketball (seen above mid-air at the staff bbq in August) and golf.
