Man's Best Friend
Kevin is veteran suffering from PTSD, who utilizing SVdP’s Operation Veteran Renewal program to get support. He recently was given an emotional support animal to help with his transition back to civilian life. While the dog was given to him free of charge, Kevin is unemployed with no income and did not have the money to get his new friend microchipped. The stress of losing his new companion would be a major blow to the progress he is making, so when a local pet store was offering low cost microchipping, SVdP donors made it possible for us to pay the $31 needed to help Kevin get his emotional support animal microchipped.
