Danner Donates Boots to St. Vinnie’s

Recently, the marketing and development team from St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle|King County was at the Landing in Renton distributing literature to businesses. We were introducing ourselves to the businesses because we are opening a new Renton Thrift Store at 575 Rainier Avenue North in Renton on August 11, 2014.

We walked into the new Danner Boots store, which is in the midst of a number of events surrounding the opening of their new store there. After hearing our story, he offered to make donations of Danner boots to our organization to help homeless men and others get good footwear. We are thankful for the gracious and generous support from Danner.

For those of you not familiar with the brand, Danner is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and makes incredible boots; some of the best money can buy. We learned in our conversations with Tim, that Danner also has a big heart and for that we are very grateful.
