What’s Happening at SVdP?

Holy Rosary eighth grade students Kayla and Joe personally delivered close to $140 raised by fellow students at their annual bake sale. In addition to the funds, the Holy Rosary students also delivered clothing, personal hygiene items and other household goods donations. We applaud and thank you for your efforts!!

Centro Rendu is St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County’s Hispanic Outreach program. Centro Rendu’s Adult Educational Center in Kent helps our neighbors with Spanish Literacy, Primary and Secondary Education, GED preparation, Conversational English, Computer Literacy, as well as Case Management, immigration counseling, and referrals to other service agencies. We had another great group of students from NW School volunteer at SVdP’s Food Bank last week. Before the food bank opened, these students worked hard, sorting and breaking down donations into individual portions for our guests. Neighborcare Opens at Aurora! Neighborcare Health opened a primary care medical clinic at our SVdP Aurora Avenue store on Friday, February 27, 2015.  The clinic will be open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The referral number you should use is 206-548-7600.
