Thanks, FedEx!
Our friends from FedEx volunteered in our Georgetown Food Bank last week.

These FedEx volunteers helped serve guests of our FACES (Food, Assistance, Compassion, and Emergency Services) program for the homeless people in the Georgetown area.

The FedEx volunteers were busy handing out food to help our homeless friends make it through the weekend. We designed the program to serve food that is high in protein and doesn’t require preparation or refrigeration.

We also supply our guests with hygiene items, health assessments, and free clothing. Tom was so busy handing out clothing that he didn’t even have time to pose for a picture!

We could not operate the food bank without the support of volunteers from the community, so we really appreciate this group of volunteers, who took time out of their work day to help serve our homeless friends.

The hard work and compassion that these volunteers showed how much FedEx truly cares about our neighbors in need.
