Elderly, Homeless Man Finds Housing
Kevin is an elderly, homeless man. He had an apartment in Fremont, but the building was sold and the rent was raised to more than his Section 8 voucher allotted. After Kevin was forced to move out, he had been couch surfing with various friends. He found a new rental, but he did not have enough to cover the deposit. He requested assistance with this cost and St. Vincent de Paul was able to cover $100 of the deposit to help get him off of the streets and into his new home, thanks to the support of our community.
