SVdP Hosts Prologis!
St. Vincent de Paul Georgetown Food Bank & Central Warehouse was proud to have hosted a committed team of 13 volunteers from Prologis on their Global Day of Impact, May 18, 2018.
Prologis is building a very creative building right across the street from our Council office in Georgetown.
It is a three-floor 590,000 square foot industrial warehouse scheduled for completion in 2018. The first of its kind in the U.S., this Prologis building will feature truck ramps leading to loading docks on the second level and a third floor, served via forklift accessible freight elevators, for lighter-scale warehouse operations.
Friday, May 18, was Prologis’ sixth annual Global Day of Service, Impact Day when the company gives back to the communities where their employees live and work all around the world.
Prologis selected St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle King County for their employees here in the Seattle market as one of their Global Day of Service locations. They were a major sponsor of the SVdP Blue Dress Breakfast in early May 2018 and we are proud and honored to have them as a neighbor. St. Vincent de Paul says Thank You Prologis!
