Las Posadas at Centro Rendu

One of special programs, Centro Rendu is hosting a series of community events throughout this month called Las Posadas, which is a multi-day holiday tradition that incorporates food, music, and gifting associated with the Christmas spirit and the traditions of pilgrimage from home to home seeking posada, or shelter. Celebrating their own version of Las Posadas, Centro Rendu recognizes many cultural Christmas traditions of our diverse friends and families while introducing their core social services and programming.
Last week was the inaugural Las Posadas event in which over 70 families visited the posada of Centro Rendu. All enjoyed food, drinks, and gift bags, which thanks to the Molina Foundation, included a free book. If you missed our first Las Posadas event, no worries!
The second Las Posadas event will be held tomorrow at our Renton thrift store location. We are excited to be joined by Consulado de México en Seattle, our very own Executive Director Ned Delmore, and a few other distinguished guests.
