Meet Steve

 Steve is the Director of Human Resources at SVdP.  He has been with the organization for more than six years, starting as a Food Bank Volunteer.   Before accepting his current position as Director of Human Resources, Steve held several positions in the organization, including Food Bank Support Staff, Volunteer Coordinator, and Volunteer/Human Resource Manager.

“I was deeply affected by the overwhelming needs in our community when I started working at the Food Bank in 2007. As I learned more about the larger scope of work SVdP accomplishes, my respect and admiration for this organization grew. The agency helped me personally when it recognized innate skills I was unaware I had, and provided me with an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. There are few companies that provide that level of attention and care to their employees, and I am dedicated in my current role to carry on and enhance that tradition. I also appreciate that working here contributes to helping our community in such substantial ways—it’s rewarding to be a part of that.”
