It has been brought to our attention that someone in the Georgetown Foodbank Warehouse complex has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus last week.

In an effort to prevent further spread of the virus and protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, we have closed the Foodbank and donations at Georgetown from Monday, Sept. 14 through Friday, Sept. 18 to be cleaned and sanitized to ensure there is no further spread of the virus.

In addition, we are asking all employees that may have visited the Georgetown Foodbank Warehouse complex to get tested and quarantine until they receive their test results.

Again, the building will be cleaned and sanitized to ensure there is no further spread of the virus.

The health and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers, and neighbors is our first priority! Thank you.
