Did You Buy New Furniture over Memorial Day Weekend?

Memorial Day is a huge weekend for furniture sales. If you are purchased new furniture over Memorial Day weekend, please consider donating your gently-used furniture to St. Vincent de Paul.

Donations Become $$$ For Programs

When we sell the items we pick from your residence, we utilize the proceeds donated goods create to raise money to help support our program services, e.g. food, shelter, clothing, and utility assistance for needy neighbors.

Your Donated Furniture is Valuable

Generally, a couch in good condition will sell for between $39.99 and $199.99, a bed set will sell for between $29.99 and $49.99,a dining room table and chairs will sell for between $19.99 and $99.99. The funds we receive from selling your items is valuable. Your donation can often help a family keep their heat or water on for a month or pay rent and prevent homelessness for as little as $100.

SVdPGREEN

Over 40,000 tons of textiles are put in the garbage in King County every year. When you shop thrift or donate to thrift, you are engaged in reuse and recycling. We are big recyclers, having started in 1926. Our five thrift stores’ SVdPGREEN program recycles close to 2,000,000 lbs. yearly.

Along with the furniture listed below, SVdP also sells clothing, accessories, shoes, household goods, books, and more. Visit our Goods Donation page for a complete list of what we sell and cannot sell.
