St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle | King County offers opportunities for individuals to complete community service hours,
whether for a high-school or university, or court-ordered community service hours.
Your volunteer hours support the work of SVdP for community transformation.
Volunteering for community service hours is a great way to gain hands-on experience by helping your community.
Through service, volunteers build compassion, leadership skills, and civic responsibility.
Student Service Hours
Students age 16+ are welcome to volunteer independently at SVdP with parental consent. Students 12-16 must serve alongside a parent or guardian.
For all students, opportunities include:
- Food Packing and Distribution at our Georgetown Foodbank
For students 18 and older, additional opportunities include:
- Donation Processing, Stocking and Inventory at our Kenmore,
Kent or Renton Thrift Stores
Court-Ordered Community Service
Individuals who need to complete court-ordered community service hours can explore the following opportunities:
- Food Packing and Distribution at our Georgetown Foodbank
- Donation Processing, Stocking and Inventory
at our Kenmore, Kent or Renton Thrift Stores - Donation Processing at our Georgetown Warehouse
Please note, all volunteers 18 and older will be background checked as part of our application process. Volunteer opportunities available are conditional upon a passed background check.
