A Shelter of Hope

Seattle Homeless Prevention

St. Vincent de Paul

When Tiffany called St. Vincent de Paul, she had $20 in her pocket and a promise from an agency to provide her family with rental assistance in two weeks. Temporary shelters were full. Until then, she and her two children had no place to stay.

Tiffany had a low paying job working nights. That made her housing emergency even more critical. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, she was able to pay $100 for a motel for temporary shelter. Donations enabled Tiffany and the children to get food vouchers and bus tickets.

She was even able to save a little bit of money to care for her family. Things got better. She and her children finally got housing, all because of you.
