Trained intake specialists provide immediate relief to neighbors experiencing difficult life circumstances, assisting callers with eviction prevention, basic need supplies, and case management assessments. Volunteers and staff treat every caller with dignity and respect, empowering neighbors to build the resources and skills they need to reach self-sufficiency.

Volunteering at our Crisis Helpline requires specialized training and a weekly commitment of at least six months. Volunteers with a background in social work, crisis response, or serving vulnerable populations are highly encouraged to apply.
