Thrift Stores Sales Support St. Vincent’s Mission
St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County is a local, independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) charity. Proceeds generated from sales in our five thrift stores provide funding to support our programs. We help people with emergency assistance. We also assist people in finding long term solutions for finding pathways to achieve self-sufficiency and stability.
St. Vincent Stores Help Neighbors Get Necessities
We have over 1,200 volunteers at more than 50 neighborhood conferences making over 12,000 in home visits per year, serving neighbors in need. Stores support our home visit teams by helping neighbors get furniture, clothing and other home necessities. Our home visit teams help prevent evictions and utility shut-offs, ease hunger, and link people to our longer- term case management services.

Stores Help Support Direct Assistance Program (DAP)
When a family in crisis can’t get help because one of our chapters doesn’t have the necessary resources, we support the family with DAP. We provide help, assisting with rent, utility shut-offs, food, and other needs.
